Golden Gate Park's Stow Lake and Palace of Fine Arts Engagement Session
San Francisco boasts some of the prettiest locations for an engagement session! Tiffany and Joseph had the great idea of renting a row boat on Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park to kick start their engagement session. Turns out rowing in unison with a bit of wind is more challenging that one would think! But these two got their paddles in sync and managed to maneuver the Stow Lake like pros, and enjoyed the views while they were at it.
These two had their first date at a Korean restaurant, yum! And on their second date, they went out for a spin on the ice. Tiffany happens to be a national and world championship level ice-skater! Tiffany held Joseph’s hand and helped him be steady on the ice as they circled the rink.
We headed off to the Palace of Fine Arts, which is always a popular spot and such a classic place in San Francisco to take engagement photos. The terracotta colored pillars add a glow to everyone’s skin tone, and pond with it’s surrounding landscaping offer an inviting stroll. The amount of tourists that come through here can be a challenge for any photo session, but Tiffany and Joseph were easy-going and having fun, and we wound our way through the columns grabbing shots as we went.
The key to a great engagement session is to keep moving and have fun together, which these two absolutely did.
I am super excited for their gorgeous wedding at the beautiful California coastal Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay! Their wedding countdown has begun and is about a month away!
If you want to get out on the water with your sweetie, here is info on renting your own rowboat or paddle boat at Stow Lake.
