A Romantic Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay Wedding
Set along the stunning California coastline, the Ritz Carlton is such a unique wedding venue; it blends unparalleled luxury with jaw-dropping natural surroundings. This romantic wedding was filled with blush pinks, warm golden tones, and the magnificent blue of the Pacific Ocean. It was important to Tiffany and Joseph that they honor their Christianity in an outdoor setting by the ocean, and so they held their ceremony on the Ocean Lawn under a pink rose covered archway. It was a sunny September day, and the wedding had a lovely fairy tale vibe!
Tiffany’s girl squad was exactly what every bride would want on their wedding day: supportive, loving, and helping her with everything she needed!

Such a sweet First Look!
The ceremony was held on the Ocean Lawn, and was officiated by a reverend of the Indonesian Evangelical Church. The couple also chose to include a sand ceremony which perfectly tied-in with the ocean setting.
The Ritz-Carlton had a golf cart ready to go after the ceremony, and whisked us down to the beach. If you are planning your wedding at the Ritz-Carlton, be sure to include enough time to travel down to the beach for photos!
The couples’ wedding bands were custom designed by Tiffany’s mother. The white gold represents white foam of the sea, and the yellow gold represents sand. The couple got engaged at Montara Beach, not far from the Ritz-Carlton.
The views are stunning and the Ritz-Carlton are reminiscent of a castle perched on top of a coastal bluff.

Guest favors were little bottles of pink sea salt! And the marbled and gold wedding cake was designed by the bride.
I loved this sweet moment when Tiffany danced with her grandfather! For some weddings, the love is so strong it’s palpable in the room, and this was one of those! There was barely a dry eye after Tiffany and her grandfather finished their dance.

Tiffany and her dad surprised their guests with a special sword performance! When Tiffany was a child she would practice the straight sword with her dad, and won first place in the straight sword International Wushu competition in 2005.
